Advanced Search

The publications which are located in the Library of Mathematics are registered in the catalog of the Bonn University Library (ULB). This Main Catalog allows you to find the book you look after as simply as possible.

When you have found the publication you looked after, some more information can be obtained by clicking on the publication's title. Firstly, you obtain the publication's bibliographic information:

The column branch is important. All exemplars marked by Fachbibliothek Mathematik can be found in this library if they are not currently lent out. Behind this specification of the branch, you find the shelf location, such as e.g. in this case Präsenzbestand (reference stock) and Ausleihbestand (loan stock). More information about the shelf locations can be found in the navigation's item Shelf locations.

To find a publication at the corresponding shelf location, you should remember the shelfmark. This is shown for each exemplar individually.

Remarks

  • If you want only publications of the Library of Mathematics to be displayed, you can narrow down the results to the Library of Mathematics on the left-hand side of the search results' page. Furthermore, many more criteria for refinements are provided.
  • The shelf location Handapparat xx denotes the professors' and institutions' reserve shelves. The exemplars located in the reserve shelves can normally not be borrowed or requested. If no other exemplar is available, please contact the corresponding professor.
