Information for guests

Guests (professors, scientists and students) are welcome to use the stock of the Library of Mathematics as well as the numerous desks.

You can enter the library free of formalities. Coats, anoraks, bags (inclusive notebook bags) and other baggage is not allowed in the library. Please store your items in a locker. Corresponding keys can be borrowed at the library staff.

During your visit in the library, you can take books and journals out of the shelves and take them to the desks, or even make yourself comfortable on the couches. Please put the books and journals back after you have read them! Furthermore, you can copy or scan single pages in the library.

If you want to borrow some books, you can apply for a library card for the time of your visit at the University of Bonn. (Please contact the Bonn University Library or the Branch Library MNL. Please take a valid identity card or a passport and a letter of invitation of the University of Bonn with you.)
